Acne Scar Treatment by Micro-Needling and Mesotherapy

Micro-Needling is the process that involves pricking the skin with tiny sterilized needles. With this procedure, extremely minor wounds will be created, which causes your body to make more collagen and elastin, the building blocks for younger and healthier-looking skin. Micro-Needling has different names, and sometimes it can be referred to as Collagen Induction Therapy.

With the micro-needling procedure, you are trying to create small wounds that your own body will heal by producing more collagen and elastin. Collagen helps fill in and smooth out the skin, causing acne scars to diminish over time.
Before the treatment, the area will be cleaned, and a topical anesthetic may be applied. During the treatments, other vitamins and nutrients can also be given to aid the healing process by mesotherapy.
